Darren Menabney

Darren Menabney leads global organizational development initiatives at Ricoh Company Limited, strengthening employee engagement and building a stronger global culture among Ricoh’s 100,000 employees. He teaches courses in Critical Thinking and Analytical Skills at GLOBIS University, and Business Writing at the New York University (NYU) School of Professional Studies.

Before moving to Tokyo, Mr. Menabney spent over 20 years working for the Canadian federal government, running programs to boost the innovation ecosystem. He is a contributing writer for Fast Company, a TEDx speaker, and has been a Design Thinking and Storytelling coach with IDEO U.

Mr. Menabney graduated from the University of Toronto with a degree in Astrophysics and received an MBA from the Graduate School of Management, GLOBIS University in Tokyo.
